Eye Care & Surgeons of Charlotte
is a small, independent eye care practice.

We specialize in laser cataract surgery,
minimally invasive glaucoma surgery,
and laser vision correction.

Modern. Personal. Local.

Eye Care & Surgeons of Charlotte is a small, independent eye care practice that specializes in laser cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and laser vision correction.

We  focus on neuro-ophthalmic and complex medical conditions involving the eye, including uveitis. We provide diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cornea care, including dry eyes.

Eye care & Surgeons is big enough to provide the latest in modern medical and surgical eye care, but much smaller than the big corporate eye care practices around Charlotte and Union County.

We are able to offer a personal approach to each unique patient.

Eye Care & Surgeons of Charlotte is a physician-led organization by Dara Khalatbari, MD.

Eye Care Services

First and foremost, we are laser cataract surgeons. Laser in cataract surgery replaces many steps of the procedure that in the past were done by hand using metal instruments with a computer controlled laser. It is the newest and most modern method of performing cataract surgery.

The benefits of laser cataract surgery include making the surgery more precise, and most important, making your vision better than it was even before the cataract. In our hands, laser cataract surgery is the safest, most gentle, and provides for the quickest recovery.

In addition, we offer the following eye care services.
